- Delta currently offers more than 172 peak-day departures to 63 destinations worldwide



- Delta’s service at BOS dates from August 11, 1933, when Boston-Maine Airways ([later Northeast Airlines](https://deltamuseum.org/family-tree/northeast-airlines)) began flights from Boston to Bangor and Portland, Maine. Boston-based Northeast Airlines merged with Delta in 1972.



## Connecting Boston to the World

Delta [announced two brand-new nonstop routes](https://news.delta.com/euro-summer-activated-delta-expands-bostons-gateway-europe) for this summer:



- Daily service to Madrid (MAD) is launching May 16.



- Three-times-weekly flights to Nice (NCE) on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday will launch May 17.



Delta also expanded service to [Barcelona](https://news.delta.com/sun-style-and-spain-deltas-new-boston-barcelona-service-takes) and Milan from Boston, with daily flights to Barcelona beginning May 7, and four-times-weekly service to Milan starting May 16.



With these additions, Delta will now serve 12 European destinations from Boston.

For winter 2026, Delta is growing its island network with the return of [Boston to Honolulu](https://news.delta.com/lei-ing-down-deltas-largest-hawaii-schedule-msp-maui-launches-bos-honolulu-returns) beginning Dec. 19, 2026. Flights will operate daily during peak late-December travel before transitioning to four weekly frequencies through the winter season.

### Delta One Lounge

Delta continues to elevate the premium ground experience with the opening of the [third Delta One Lounge](https://news.delta.com/all-aboard-delta-one-lounge-boston-logan-international-offers-fine-dining-seafaring-flair), located at Boston Logan International Airport.

With seating for 121 guests, the BOS Delta One Lounge includes the following amenities and experiences:



- An elevated seafood-centric menu with a three-course meal served in under an hour



- Rich design that pays tribute to Boston’s nautical heritage



- Exclusive access to a living room area (located in the adjacent Delta Sky Club) with second monitors and booths for private work



- Full access to the award-winning BOS-E Sky Club, recently named one of the [10 best lounges in the U.S.](https://10best.usatoday.com/awards/travel/best-airport-lounge-2024/) by USA Today

Before security, customers flying Delta One can also enjoy a private check-in experience with personalized assistance.

### Delta Sky Club

In summer 2023, Boston-Logan's Terminal E expansion opened, which included a new Delta Sky Club for international departures. The [nearly 21,000-square-foot E Concourse Club](https://news.delta.com/bostons-nautical-history-inspires-delta-sky-clubs-luxurious-new-bos-e-lounge) seats more than 400 guests and overlooks the famous Boston Harbor. The lounge, which takes inspiration from the famous harbor itself, incorporating colors and textures reminiscent of Boston’s nautical history, features:

- A premium bar with a layered, champagne-toned mesh ceiling overhang and a dramatic backlit beverage display
- Premium food and beverage options with regional specialties
- A variety of seating options, including six soundproof phone booths
- Club restroom amenities, which includes a family room and five shower suites (two of which are ADA compliant)

This lounge operates alongside the two Clubs on Concourse A, giving Delta Sky Club the capacity for more than 1,000 guests simultaneously at BOS.

## **Advancing Sustainable Travel at BOS**

- BOS Terminal A redevelopment became first U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) LEED-certified airport terminal in the world



- More than 80% of BOS’ core ground support equipment (GSE) has been electrified



- BOS Terminal A also has recycling, compositing and water refill stations available



- Nearly 50% of BOS departures are on next-generation fleet (A220, A321 Neo, A250), which are more fuel efficient



- BOS has established landing and taxiing procedures to save on jet fuel
