# Your Guide to Nice

No one knows travel quite like Delta people, which is why we've turned to them to curate a guide to help you discover the best that Nice has to offer. Unsure of where to stay? Want to know the best day trips? Just go ahead and book that flight — we'll help take care of the planning.

## GETTING AROUND THE CITY

#### tram From airport to hotel

The Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is just 7km (4-5 miles) from Old Nice. Nice’s Lignes d'Azur Tramway directly connects from the airport to the city center taking 20-30 minutes. With stops at both terminals one and two via lines L2 and L3.

#### directions\_bus Public transportation

Nice ranks highly for both walkability and transportation infrastructure. While the tram is the fastest way between city hot spots, trains ensure longer distance travel is within reach. Nice also offers an extensive bus system.

#### directions\_walk To walk or to tram

Getting a Lignes d'Azur bus and tram card is simple. The tramway has close together stops through most of Nice’s attractions, making it easy to alternate between walking and resting. Listen for the tram’s stop-specific audio cues.

**Pro Tip:** Check out the city’s central sights via the hop on hop off bus.

#### train Exploring nearby Nice

Nice is just a day-trip distance to numerous attractions. Bookable tours and/or the regional train network ensure a medieval village or hike on the water are within reach. Download the Trainline app to plan your route from your phone.

This is Nice’s main shopping and commercial district. Steps from the ocean there is no shortage of ways to stay busy.

Also along the promenade, this slightly more residential neighborhood is perfect for those who want a quieter stay and don't mind a pleasant stroll into Old Town.

#### Èze

I loved Èze, which is between Nice and Monaco. It’s an ancient walled city high on a hill with captivating views overlooking the Mediterranean.
